While Battambang is Cambodia’s second largest city, it doesn’t seem that big. And it is pretty interesting. The French left behind an urban plan, parks, and colonial architecture, including an art deco market. A scenic river runs through the center. Statues are scattered around town. There are many interesting modern temples with impressive statues. It was a nice place to spend a few days.
