Jungles, beaches, volcanoes, temples, music, dancing, demons: Bali has it all! I’ve been busy driving a motorbike around the island, exploring it on my own, at my own pace. But as incredible as Bali is, it also frustrates me. Bali is the most touristy part of Indonesia, and I had to get away from all the tourists and people trying to sell me crap I don’t want. When I heard it was possible to rent a motorbike in Bali and ride east, I knew I had to do it. My plan is to ride through the islands of Lombok, Sumbawa, and Flores.

After this three week solo adventure off the beaten path, I’ll be exploring Malaysian Borneo for a month. It’s been a pretty busy three months of travel, with no time to write articles. But don’t worry. I have hundreds of photos. After Borneo I will plant myself somewhere for a while, and crank out some updates. So stay tuned!
